Well Engineered has developed a custom 2" receiver mount hook for auto tow launch of sailplanes. This product enables any vehicle with a class III or IV tow hitch to be used as a sailplane launch vehicle. All loading is maintained in the intended direction for the tow hook, and release effort is designed to be a minimum.  It is currently undergoing testing by the Department of National Defence.
